THE LAB'S STORY
After 15 years as an Assistant Club Professional at high-end private and public golf courses (Los Angeles Country Club, Valencia Country Club, Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club, Trump National, Lost Canyons), Joel made the leap out on his own to focus on private instruction. In 2015, he decided to build out a space on his property in Toluca Lake, allowing Joel to teach the art of a great golf swing, on a schedule that worked for his very busy clientele.
SIMULATOR TRAINING
UPDATED MAY 2018: We just installed a new FULL SWING GOLF system -- named Golf Digest's Editor's Choice Best Simulator for 2018.
The Flynn Golf Lab experience is even more accurate now with dual tracking technology and realistic and precise ball flight, empowering both coach and student. Accurate swing and ball data combine with video to build a reliable swing. The experience is enhanced by a projected high resolution image of play, which includes practice rounds on famed courses such as Pebble Beach and St. Andrews.
PLAYING LESSONS
If you've got the time and dedication, playing lessons are Joel's specialty. While swing technique is learned in The Lab, you'll ultimately want to put it to the playing test. Joel has a finely tuned eye for helping adjust players in their set up, and on the course, to achieve their best results. He'll teach you how to handle awkward lies and specialty shots while demostrating proper swing tempo. Create the perfect pre-shot routine, building fundamentals for golfing success.
